Dr. Sheline was born in Chicago but moved to Oklahoma at a young age. Dr. Sheline attended the University of Oklahoma and received his bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Philosophy. He continued onto the University of Oklahoma Medical School where he received his doctorate. Dr. Sheline stayed in Oklahoma to complete his Family Medicine residency at the Great Plains Family Medicine Residency.
Dr. Sheline’s mother was a speech pathologist, teaching him at an early age the importance of compassion, empathy and helping others. He believes that every encounter with a patient is an opportunity to better his education and a patient’s life.

Dr. Sheline believes that exercising regularly, eating well, and staying active are key to living a healthy and happy life. He thinks that you should fill your past time with exciting hobbies that allow you to make connections with not only your loved ones but with friends, strangers, and even coworkers.

Personal
Dr. Sheline loves nothing more than diving into a new book. His retired dream is to have a study library filled to the brim with books. He also comes from an Italian heritage, so cooking (or eating in general) runs in his blood. He and his wife are always on the hunt for the next best restaurant. Cooking also gives him the opportunity to come together with his family. Dr. Sheline is excited to be in Colorado for the beautiful golf courses. He is still upping his game but is always excited to get out on a course. Dr. Sheline is also a huge lover of movies and things associated with his favorites, especially quotes. He and his wife, who are high school sweethearts, regularly drop quotes on each other to see who the real quote champion is in the family.
