A Colorado native, Melanie has a wide range of experience in medicine: as a previous director of health services; nurse examiner for sexual assault cases; ER nurse; family medicine, urgent care, and geriatrics nurse; and recently as a walk-in clinic manager.
Melanie graduated from nursing school in 1997 and furthered her education at Graceland University in Missouri with a degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2006. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Kind and compassionate, Melanie embraces the challenges of juggling acute and chronic illness with daily life. She thrives on delivering superior patient care while understanding the individual patient needs.
An avid Colorado Eagles hockey fan and proud wife and mother of two, she enjoys traveling, reading, teaching, dancing, and watching her children participate in sporting events.
