Taste of Fort Collins 2016

The Taste of Fort Collins (TFC) is a Northern Colorado tradition—a community celebration with family friendly activities that are perfect for Northern Coloradoans and their active lifestyles. TFC continues to benefit the Eyeopeners Kiwanis Club of Fort Collins Foundation and its charitable activities in the community. This three-day festival offers attendees food from local and national restaurants, entertainment from regionally and internationally acclaimed musicians, and an eclectic display of fine artisans’ work as well as the region’s best crafters.

1. Where is TFC located?

Civic Center Park in Old Town Fort Collins (adjacent to the Justice Center). There are four entrances for our patrons:

  • Intersection of Laporte Ave. and Mason St.
  • Mountain Ave. between Howes and Mason St. (Not an entrance on Friday)
  • Intersection of Laporte Ave. and Meldrum St. (Not an entrance on Friday)
  • Intersection of Howes St. and Maple St.

2. What are the Festival ground rules?

The following may not be brought into the festival:

  • Alcoholic beverages, beverage containers, glass bottles, food, coolers, picnic baskets, or carry-ins of any type (Backpacks or large bags may be searched.)
  • Cannabis products of any kind
  • Kites, frisbees, balls, or other sports equipment
  • Scooters, skateboards, or in-line skates
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Firearms, weapons, contraband, or laser pointers
  • Bicycles (Please use the bike racks at the festival entrances.)

Once you’re here, a few tips for enjoying the Festival include:

  • No unauthorized vending.
  • Drink responsibly and make sure your group has a designated driver.
  • This is a family festival. Be sure to use appropriate behavior, and refrain from inappropriate language.
  • Have a meeting place in case you get separated.
  • Don’t leave children unattended.
  • Get comfy. Feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs for the grass to watch the awesome local and national talent.

When you leave the Festival:

  • No alcoholic beverages may be taken off festival grounds.
  • Please dispose of recyclables and trash in the proper receptacles and help us leave the neighborhood clean.

3. Why is there gate admission?

Entry fees help support our nonprofit partners, as do preticket sales, beverage sales, and all tip jars! The entry fee is also used to offset the cost of bringing in national talent acts, such as Third Eye Blind, Sugar Ray, Lifehouse, Shawn Colvin, and the Gin Blossoms. The Taste of Fort Collins is proud to partner and support our local nonprofit partner—the Eyeopeners Kiwanis Club of Fort Collins Foundation.

4. Where is parking available?

Parking is available on the surrounding streets and in garages; however, we recommend carpooling and riding bikes to the Festival.

5. Where can I find First Aid and Lost and Found?

Poudre Valley Medical Response provides first aid and ambulance services at the Taste of Fort Collins. First Aid services are located next to the Volunteer tent on Laporte Ave, next to the County Building. The Lost and Found–including lost children–is located at the Volunteer tent.
