Dr. Podhajsky was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. His undergraduate studies were completed at Luther College in Decorah, where he majored in biology and psychology. Having graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1992, he headed west to complete his residency training at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Center.
Dr. Podhajsky maintains a range of hobbies and interests that help to keep him healthy—body and mind. He enjoys music, exercise, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.
