Steven Tippin, MD
Dr. Steven Tippin was born at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Twenty-six years later he graduated from that same institution as a medical doctor before completing his internship and residency at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in Phoenix.
Originally from Wichita, Dr. Tippin obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Dr. Tippin’s passion for helping people is also what drives him to participate in international medical missions in locations such as Haiti, a country he’s visited three times.
“I enjoy doing things that are meaningful in the lives of others, and I like the wide array of medical problems I am presented with as a doctor. There is a lot of variety so you need to be well-versed in a number of disciplines.”
Dr. Tippin has a wife, Nancy, and two daughters. He enjoys a variety of nonmedical activities, including sports, music (he’s played in jazz and blues bands), and exercise.
