Dr. Colip was born and raised in Norton, Kansas. He completed his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University (go Cats!) in 1991, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kansas in 1995. Dr. Colip completed his family medicine residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, before moving to Colorado in 1998. He practiced full-spectrum family medicine in Louisville, Colorado, and then Sterling, Colorado, until 2005. He then changed gears a bit to work full-time emergency medicine in rural Wyoming for the next eight years.
Dr. Colip joined the Urgent Care clinic at Associates in Family Medicine full time in September 2013. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Colip enjoys spending time with his wife, Nanette, and their three kids. He loves to bike, hike, ski, and travel with his family.
