Michael Beck-Gifford, PNP-C, FNP
Michael Beck-Gifford truly enjoys partnering with his patients in their pursuit of bettering and maintaining their wellness.
When he’s not with patients, you can often find Michael navigating switchbacks on his mountain bike. See how Michael’s determined resolve to keep going, even when the going gets rough, is not limited to the biking trail.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from University of Colorado in 1979, and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Northern Colorado in 1985. He completed his Master’s in Nursing from CU Health Sciences Center and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 1993, and received a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Northern Colorado in 2007.
Michael takes a holistic approach to patient care. He believes in health promotion, and meeting every patient where they are in their health journey.
Michael rides bikes (both mountain and road!), walks his dog, swims and practices yoga. Ever the believer in “Everything in moderation,” he eats well (most of the time), and enjoys a cold beer every once in awhile.
Professionally, Michael is very passionate about pediatrics and working with children.
Personally, Michael enjoys traveling, reading (mysteries, history books, biographies and occasionally literature) and mountain biking. He also volunteers at a local elementary school with his dog, Leo, providing animal assisted therapy through HABIC (Human and Animal Bond in Colorado).
