While he still had hair on his head, Dr. Piper received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of St. Thomas. After college, Dr. Piper spent a year serving at a homeless shelter near Wolf Creek, Colorado, then went on to medical school at the University of Minnesota where he focused on Family Medicine.
After medical school, Dr. Piper returned to Colorado to complete his Family Medicine Internship/Residency. He has lived in the Fort Collins area since 2011.
Dr. Piper’s desire to help others has taken him around the world to places like Haiti and Uganda. Through these challenging yet rewarding experiences, he has learned valuable lessons about staying positive and determined, even in the face of adversity. He brings these mindsets into helping his patients lead full, healthy lives.
In his free time, Dr. Piper enjoys reading, skiing, cycling, ice hockey, lacrosse, and trying out new restaurants!
Dr. Piper practices full-scope family medicine, from birth through end-of-life care. His specific areas of interest include:
