Kendra Beeners, FNP-C
Seeing the patient as a whole, instead of just a diagnosis, is what Kendra Beeners strives to do. She gives 100% to each patient she sees, using a team-based approach with the patient to encompass healing and a healthy lifestyle.
Kendra Beeners is originally from Nebraska. She stayed close to home and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for her undergraduate degree, but ultimately decided to transfer to the University of Northern Colorado where she obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2001. After 10 years of experience, Kendra decided to further her education and returned to the University of Northern Colorado. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014. Kendra comes to AFM after working at a Family Medicine Practice and then in the Oncology Department at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Kendra has been practicing medicine since 2001.
Kendra is simply there for her patients, no gimmicks. She believes in open communication and trust between a patient and their provider.

When it comes to staying healthy, keeping it simple is not only manageable but Kendra’s preferred course of action. She ensures to eat properly and exercise often to keep her body and mind healthy.
Kendra has dabbled in different areas of focus throughout her medical career and enjoys working with a variety of patients. Kendra has found that she is most interested in women’s health, counseling and preventative treatment.
Family is the first thought on Kendra’s mind. Almost everything she does is to enjoy her time with her family and friends.
