Josh Barber, PA-C
Josh Barber values listening, helping, and serving his patients and their needs. He believes in an open and welcoming environment for all individuals to feel comfortable and safe.
Josh completed his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology & Outdoor Education. He then spent 12 years working as a program manager in Outdoor Recreation and Education for various programs in California and Colorado. Following his work experience, he attended Western Michigan University’s Physician Assistant Program, finishing with a Masters of Medical Science.
Josh values shared decision making and truly listening to his patients. He believes a healthy lifestyle is the best preventative medicine there is.
Josh makes an effort to stay active, eat healthy, take personal time (for mental health and clarity), and stay grateful as much as possible.
Josh enjoys practicing in an urgent care setting. His passion lies in getting people back on their feet after suffering from acute illness and injuries.
Josh is a big fan of the outdoors, and loves to go fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and camping with his family. He likes to travel and experience new places (he recently spent one year traveling on the west coast, caring for patients in acute care settings). He also enjoys good food and live music.
