Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. She then earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Des Moines University in Iowa.
Jennifer has been practicing medicine since 2016.
Jennifer aims to maintain an open mind and think outside of the box when it comes to treatment and care for her patients. She is thorough and detail-oriented.
Jennifer enjoys caring for all different types of patients and their needs.“I have a special interest in working with individuals with disabilities. I love to help them feel heard and include them in the decision-making process.”
She also appreciates a team approach that values comprehensive patient care. Having the involvement of social workers, mental health providers, nutritionists, and more ensures the best outcome for her patients.
Jennifer stays active physically with exercise, and also maintains her mental/emotional strength by staying active in the community and active in her church.
She also enjoys being creative with cooking healthy and balanced meals.
Jennifer enjoys the diversity that family medicine offers but she has a special interest in dermatology, women’s health, pediatrics, working with individuals with disabilities, and sexual health/infectious disease counseling, prevention and treatment.
Jennifer is a mountain fanatic! She loves skiing, hiking 14ers, running, and rock climbing. She also recently developed a new hobby of racing with donkeys in the mountains with her husband!
