Jamie Hyndman, PA-C
Jamie Hyndman’s deeply rooted passion for providing care in Northern Colorado stems from her drive to serve the community who helped her become the person she is today.
Jamie grew up in Fort Collins! After graduating from Colorado State University and working in EMS in Northern Colorado for six years, she followed her dream and applied to professional school. Jamie attended the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa Citv (Go Hawks!) and graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. She worked in Internal Medicine, both inpatient and outpatient, for six years before transitioning to an Urgent Care setting.
Jamie realizes that every person is on their own journey and what may work well for one patient may not work well for the another. She strives to provide high quality, compassionate care through open communication and respect for each individual based on their own needs and values.
Jamie makes every effort to exercise every morning before work and aims to eat well balanced meals.
“Although this is not always easy (there are tasty, not so healthy options everywhere!), my family is open to trying new things and challenging their taste-buds!” -Jamie Hyndman
While she enjoyed her time working in internal medicine, Jamie has truly found her passion caring for patients in the Urgent Care/Acute Care setting.
“My love for helping others, adventure and surprises make this the perfect setting for me!” -Jamie Hyndman
Jamie and her husband love to travel both locally and internationally, and are constantly trying to instill a love for adventure into their children. They also love to spend time in the mountains hiking, skiing, sledding, camping-you name it!
She is also a novice photographer and cake decorator, but is hoping both of those will improve with some fun classes this year!
