Dr. Brickl values developing relationships to promote health within the whole family. While he appreciates the importance of prescribed medications, he is passionate about the value of preventative medicine and healthy lifestyles in helping people live well and enjoy the things that are most important to them.

Dr. Brickl was raised in England and attended Cambridge University, where he obtained a B.A. and M.A. in electrical engineering. He worked for several years in the industry and academia as an electrical engineer, received an M.S. in electrical and biomedical engineering at the University of Colorado in 1996, and then graduated from the CU Medical School in 2000. He completed his residency training at the Family Medicine Center with Poudre Valley Health System from 2001 to 2004.
Dr. Brickl emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and prescribes medicines when necessary but avoids and discontinues medicines when possible.
To stay healthy, Dr. Brickl eats a healthy organic diet and works out on the rowing machine and stationary bike.
In his free time, Dr. Brickl likes to spend time with his wife and two teenage children. He enjoys traveling, learning new languages and cultures, as well as reading and strategy games.
