Eli Avery, FNP-C
Eli Avery strives to work with his patients and for his patients. He is a partner in health and strives to be available as a resource and a guide. He is dedicated to a patient’s health journey.
Over the years, Eli has had a diverse career background. He worked as a firefighter, wilderness guide, inspected Alaskan pipeline on the North Slope and even as a tour guide at the Atlanta Aquarium.
His various work opportunities even led him to explore in Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
Eli has focused the last five years of his career within health care and medicine. He spent several of those years as a nurse working on a medical surgical unit and then in the Emergency department.
Eli received his master’s in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire Graduate School in 2013. Eli returned to school to complete his post master’s certificate, which he obtained in 2017. He started his career in Family Primary Care in Sterling, Colorado, working with a rural population.
Eli believes strongly in caring for the whole patient. He enjoys working with his patients to improve their health and wellness to live a full and healthy life. While this may include various tactics such as chronic care management, substance abuse treatment, and/or travel medicine, Eli enjoys the challenge and diversity that the full spectrum of primary care offers.
Mental and physical health are important to Eli.

Eli is an outdoor enthusiast. He usually spends his free time rock climbing, backpacking and mountain biking his way through the Rocky Mountains.
