Dawn learned about Physician Assistants while serving in the United States Air Force as a medic. She later went on to attend the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Florida. After graduating, Dawn worked primarily in Emergency Medicine until transitioning to Urgent Care in 2015.
Dawn strives to treat every patient just like she would expect to be cared for or how she would want someone to care for her family members.
Dawn tries to keep up with a healthy diet and exercise regimen to stay well.
Professionally:
Dawn particularly likes doing procedures, especially suturing. It allows her a little more time to get to know her patients.
Personally:
Dawn enjoys exploring the mountains, traveling to new places, and spending quality time with the people she loves.
