Daniel Hammes, PA-C
Dan Hammes truly cares about helping his patients feel better and treats each one the same way he would treat his loved ones.
Dan graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead as Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, with an emphasis in cellular and molecular biology. He then attended the University of Iowa where he completed his Physician Assistant studies.
He has previously worked as an emergency medicine physician assistant in a Level 2 trauma emergency room in Rockford, IL, as well practiced in urgent care settings for UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dan was heavily involved in student teaching at the University of Wisconsin School of Nursing preceptor for NP and PA students and volunteered for Big Brothers and Big Sisters while in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dan practices evidence based medicine and stays up to date on what the best proven treatment recommendations are.
He also values prevention in medicine and strongly believes eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly are the foundations of living a healthy life.
Dan always considers the cost of care and works with his patients to find the affordable ways to quality health care.

Dan’s professional passions along with medicine include leadership, teaching and volunteering.
Dan enjoys anything outdoors. He loves baseball, football, tennis, yoga, golf, snowboarding, weight lifting, hiking, scuba diving, badminton, and volleyball.
He also collects retro gaming systems and games. He likes musics, traveling, grilling food, and riding his motorcycle.
