Dale Rellas, MD, CAQSM
Dr. Dale Rellas believes compassion, communication, and dedication to helping others are some of the most important values in patient care.
Having undergone multiple surgeries as a Notre Dame soccer alum, Dr. Rellas has a healthy dose of patient perspective and a true appreciation for active living. Read how he uses his firsthand experience and sports med training to help patients stay on the move.

Dr. Rellas attended Long School of Medicine at the University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his M.D. He completed his Family Medicine Residency here in Fort Collins with UCHealth. He received his CAQSM after his sports medicine fellowship at Stanford University – O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA in 2016.
Dr. Rellas believes in being there to truly hear from patients and support them in their various needs.
“I have always said that it is a privilege and honor to practice medicine. First and foremost, I feel it is important to take the time to listen to our patients.”
Dr. Rellas attempts to practice what he teaches by living a healthy lifestyle.
“As a physician, I think it is important that we take care of ourselves so that we can continue to help take care of you!”
Dr. Rellas provides a wide spectrum of family medicine care, but his special interests include:
• Sports medicine
• Travel medicine
He is actively involved in his church and also enjoys running, hiking, and biking, as well as spending time with his wife and darling dog, Izzy.
Dr. Rellas is an avid angler and loves being out on the water. He is a proud supporter of Rocky Mountain Flycasters.
