Dr. Steves is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, but she completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Baylor University. She returned to the University of Arizona for medical school before escaping the heat to finish her training at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program at Poudre Valley Hospital. She fell in love with the Fort Collins community and considers herself very lucky to be able to practice and live in Northern Colorado.

Dr. Steves stays healthy by playing co-ed soccer and running with her two dogs.
In her free time, Dr. Steves can usually be found enjoying the great outdoors. She loves to garden, ride her bike downtown, hike, camp, snowshoe, and read a good book in a hammock. She also enjoys canning (she makes a mean tomatillo salsa) and plays competitive badminton.
