Amber Steves, MD
Dr. Amber Steves values relationships built on trust and respect and is dedicated to shared decision-making with patients. From delivering babies to serving patients who are nearing 100, she loves the full scope of family medicine.
Dr. Steves is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, but she completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Baylor University. She returned to the University of Arizona for medical school before escaping the heat to finish her training at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program at Poudre Valley Hospital. She fell in love with the Fort Collins community and considers herself very lucky to be able to practice and live in Northern Colorado.
“My goal is to provide quality care to my patients through effective communication and develop meaningful relationships based on respect, trust, and dedication to their optimal health.”
Dr. Steves stays healthy by playing co-ed soccer and running with her two dogs.
In her free time, Dr. Steves can usually be found enjoying the great outdoors. She loves to garden, ride her bike downtown, hike, camp, snowshoe, and read a good book in a hammock. She also enjoys canning (she makes a mean tomatillo salsa) and plays competitive badminton.
