Aaron Pagaza has always had an interest in food and cooking, something he attributes to his parents. “Both of my parents enjoyed cooking, so I learned a lot from them when I was younger,” he says. “And as I grew up, I just naturally gravitated towards cooking as a career.”

Aaron has been cooking in restaurants for the past six years. While he enjoys preparing all kinds of foods, he finds creating new or unusual dishes—or those that teach him different techniques to create unique flavors—the most gratifying. “One of the best things about being a chef is that there’s always something more to learn, some new way to improve your craft.” 

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys hiking, camping, playing golf, snowboarding, and playing guitar. Oh, and cooking! When he craves a healthy meal, he often opts for grilled or roasted chicken with seasonal vegetables.
