Daytime Newborn Parent Support Group

Congratulations! Transitioning to parenthood can be challenging, but we are here for you every step of the way! The purpose of this group is to provide a friendly venue for professional and peer-to-peer support during the early months of your baby’s life.

This gathering will touch on:
• Nutrition, physical activity, and body image for the new mom
• Feeding your newborn
• Parenting your newborn and calming a fussy baby
• Newborn sleep patterns and tips
• Postpartum emotions and relationships
• Any other topics that you would like to discuss

LOCATION: 1300 Riverside Ave Suite 102

DATES & TIME: Every other Friday 9:30-11:00am

February 17th, March 3rd 17th and 31st, April 14th and 28th, May 12th and 26th

Important Class Information:

• This group gathering is intended for infants 9 months and younger and their birthing parent and/or nursing parent. Toddler siblings are welcome – but this group is geared towards newborn support.
• Our hope is to lay a foundation for you to develop relationships with other parents. There are also many resources in our community to which we can refer you for continued support and guidance – including topic specific groups, and groups for fathers and grandparents.
• This class is free of charge. Registration is suggested but not required. Please feel free to come and go during class time.
• This class is intended for the birthing parent and/or nursing parent. There will be specific dates for full family gatherings – please refer to our class calendar on our website.
