Living with Anxiety during COVID-19

This is a virtual education support group designed for patients dealing with mild to moderate anxiety during the COVID-19 crisis.

Anxiety symptom management is often confusing and misunderstood. AFM has the resources and ability to educate patients with the essential tools to treat the whole person. AFM is here for you during the COVID-19 crisis, even from your home.

Class Topics:
• The importance of thoughts
• Cognitive approaches to managing anxiety

Cost: $25 for the class.

Important Information:

  1. You must be an established AFM patient with a current AFM provider.
  2. This is a video-based psychoeducation class, it is not a therapy session. Please participate by sharing brief relevant examples from your life without going into too many details or revealing information that is traumatic or especially anxiety-provoking for you.
  3. Your participation is confidential in the class.  We will not share information that you disclose outside of class and we expect all participants to also keep confidentiality.
  4. To ensure confidentiality, please only include your first name and last initial when logging into Zoom.
  5. Please find a private space with no distractions when you log-in in order to fully engage with the material and to protect your privacy as well as other participants’ privacy.
