Dementia Education
This is an education support class taught by community experts for AFM patients and families.
A dementia diagnosis is often difficult and full of questions. AFM, Alzheimer’s Association, Dementia Together, and the Office on Aging have the resources and ability to educate patients with tools for planning care and coping, for those living with dementia.
Class Topics:
• The Contended Dementia Approach, which focuses on creating well-being for loved ones living with dementia and their care person.
• Local resources and events.
Cost: Free, but registration is required
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
